Linda Lalita Winnick, owner of Shakti Yoga in Woodstock, NY, has been a student of yoga, dance and martial arts for over 18 years. She has a Master of Arts in Ayurvedic Medicine and Yoga Science and is a certified yoga instructor. Linda creates unique sequences (vinyasa krama) synthesizing the beauty of form and healing potential of alignment of Iyengar and Anusara, the fluidity and grace of Ashtanga and Jivamukti, and the strength and integrity of Forrest Yoga. Linda has studied with senior teachers of the above mentioned traditions and styles as well as Sivananda and Viniyoga.

In addition to classes at Shakti Yoga, Linda is a part of the workshop faculty of the Omega Institute. Linda teaches workshops on yoga and Ayurveda and is a guest workshop instructor at Ananda Ashram in Monroe, NY. Linda has a large private yoga and Ayurvedic practice in Woodstock, including the Emerson Spa. Linda raises her seven year old son, Matan, and a collection of various pets.
